CARES Summer day camps
June 26th, July 17th, August 21st- Camp Appalachia- Scott Depot, WV
CARES is honored to present year 3 of CARES Camps. In partnership through grant funding from Autism Speaks, these unique camps give children with special needs the necessary support needed to enjoy all the fun of a traditional camp, with options like swimming, crafts, paddle boating, fishing and FRIENDSHIP!
Under the trusted guidance of the trained staff at Camp Appalachia, every child will have the opportunity to enjoy a wide variety of therapeutic activities with their peers and family. With a lack of options for atypical families, especially during the summer, our day camps fill a needed void in providing fun and respite to families desperately in need of support and opportunities to thrive.
